Step into the world of Hairspray and you are instantly transported back to Baltimore and the swinging 60's From a hit packed soundtrack to an energy packed show you just need to go and grab a ticket to see the show in its last few weeks in the Westend. The show is also on a UK tour as well.
There is nothing you can fault with the show from amazing singing and dancing to a cast that keep the energy at 100% throughout the show.
I have to give a couple of special mentions - firstly Marisha Wallace with her incredible vocals for I Know Where I've Been. I'd heard incredible things about this but it earns my performance of the show. Next up Michael Ball and Les Dennis have amazing comedy timing for their roles and play them so well to keep the audience entertained.
The show is a classic and has been a welcome breath of fresh air in the reopening of the Westend I really hope it comes back soon.
