Dr Seuss's The Lorax

So after a long wait it's finally the day I get to head to the Old Vic in London to see The Lorax

Yesterday afternoon a great email popped up in my inbox from the Old Vic giving me all the information about the theatre and the bars and planning my visit which I thought added a lovely touch. Thought it was also great for anyone taking younger children along as well for knowing what to expect.

I have to admit today was my first visit to The Old Vic but it didn't disappoint at all. The theatre itself on the outside looks lovely and is very inviting

From the moment I entered the staff everywhere were lovely and very easy to approach with any questions. All happy with smiles where I ever I looked.

On my ticket it said restricted view because of the handrail but from the angle of my seat I could see straight through it.

Now on to the show ..
From the start I honestly give the whole cast 5⭐️
The cast are amazing from start to finish. The staging of the show is completely enchanting from start to finish. A lot of the audience this evening were very young and they were all taken in from the start.
The show itself deals with deeper messages which is cleverly done for the younger audience and works well with the older audience. I don't want to give too many spoilers away if you haven't already seen the show but it was a lovely touch to see plant seeds given out to the kids on the way out after the show.

I have to give a special shout out to Simon Lipkin, Laura Cubitt and Ben Thompson who look after The Lorax during the show. All of them are so clever to watch throughout the whole show.

If you get a chance to see the show before the end of the run you will really enjoy it.

Thanks for reading my review tonight, if you go n see the show let us know what you think of it

Love Holly
