& Juliet - Theatre On a Budget Part 3

& Juliet
Shaftesbury Theatre

Hey Everyone,

Welcome back to the blog and the first of 2 show reviews for this week.

London Theatre Week has been running over the last couple of weeks giving some great deals on all the Westend shows in London.

& Juliet arrived in the Westend towards the end of 2019 and has been playing to a packed Shaftesbury theatre since. With a jam packed soundtrack with all the classics written by the music legend Max Martin it was hard not to fall in love with the show before even getting to the theatre.

We both had this show on our lists to see and it lived up to everything we'd seen and heard from the people that had seen it. It was great to be in the stalls to see the show but there really isn't a bad view from anywhere in the theatre.

Everyone knows the story of Romeo & Juliet but this play picks up the story for the writer William Shakespeare and his wife Anne's view point on what could happen if Juliet hadn't died.
What follows is a great story where we see Juliet's life carry on and how her choices impact her new view on life

With some very cleverly written humour brilliantly mixed into the soundtrack the show works well for the whole audience. The cast are perfectly chosen for their roles and the energy comes across in all the performances on stage.

With the extension of the London Theatre week deals this is a show that is really worth grabbing a ticket to see. Make sure you check out the deals here on Today Tix for & Juliet deals

If you have seen the show let me know your thoughts below and what your favourite part of the show is.

Have a great week
Love Holly
